The Annual Meeting of Members for the purpose of electing individuals to two year terms on the board of directors is held in January of each year. The next Annual Meeting will be held in January 2020.
Annual Budget & Audit
The association's fiscal year runs from January 1st to December 31st
The new fiscal year budget begins on January 1, 2020 and must be mailed to the membership no later than November 30, 2019.
The association annual audit is mailed to homeowners each year by approximately April 30th.
Maintenance - Association
Vendors with on-going service contracts with the association provide maintenance as follows:
Landscaping - Weekly on Tuesday.
Trash Pick-up - Trash pickup is on Monday & Friday of each week. All trash must fit inside of trash bins. Please breakdown boxes prior to disposing of them. Furniture and other large items are not permitted in the trash bins. Contact CR&R or a charity for disposing of those types of items.
The nearest Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center is located at 6411 Oak Canyon, Irvine, CA, off of Sand Canyon between the 5 and 405 Freeways, next to the City of Irvine’s Corporate Yard and Animal Shelter, in front of the Dog Park. Operating hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays; closed on rainy days, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
Street Sweeping Service - Twice monthly on the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month.

Board Meeting Notice & Agenda
Pursuant to California Civil Code, starting January 1, 2008, Board meeting agendas must be posted along with the notice of meeting in a prominent location in the common area or mailed to each homeowner. With the following exceptions, boards are not allowed to discuss or take action on any item not on that agenda.
- Residents may speak on any issue, regardless of whether it was listed on the agenda during homeowner forum.
- Board members and their agents (including managers) may briefly respond to statements or questions from association members, ask clarifying questions, make brief announcements, or make brief reports on their own activities.
- Boards may refer certain informational matters and administrative tasks to its managers, agents and staff--even if these items were not listed on the agenda.
- Any subject may be discussed and acted upon if there is an emergency, if immediate action is needed on a matter which arose after the agenda was distributed, or if the item was on a recent agenda and was continued to the current meeting.
The Serrano Woods Homeowners Association will post meeting notice and a copy of the meeting agenda on a community mail kiosks as well as posting those documents on this page of the website.
